Fire crews battled for more than two hours to control a fire spreading rapidly through a forest.
Two crews from Thetford and one from Brandon were called to the fire off Thetford Road, Santon Downham Woods, Thetford Forest, at 1.50pm.
It took the crews more than two hours to extinguish the blaze which crews said extended 8,000 square metres.
Brandon Fire Station said: “Earlier this afternoon we were called to reports of a forest fire, on arrival the crew found a large area of the forest well alight
“Crews used hose reels and beaters to get the fire under control.”
