Fire crews battled for more than two hours to control a blaze spreading through Santon Downham Woods, Thetford Forest




Fire crews battled for more than two hours to control a fire spreading rapidly through a forest.

Two crews from Thetford and one from Brandon were called to the fire off Thetford Road, Santon Downham Woods, Thetford Forest, at 1.50pm.

It took the crews more than two hours to extinguish the blaze which crews said extended 8,000 square metres.
