Rickinghall Church curator speaks moments after discovering possible Banksy

Caroline Davidson, the curator behind Rickinghall Art Exhibition, spoke to the Suffolk News on Saturday – just moments after her husband Iain and friend Karen Lawrence discovered what they believe may be an authentic Banksy sitting on top of an altar at the Church.

"As we opened, we were just getting ready for the day, and Karen and my husband Iain spotted this on the altar, just lying there," said Mrs Davidson.

"It definitely wasn’t there when we first arrived, and it definitely wasn’t there last night, so it appeared from somewhere.

"It looks incredibly like a Banksy. We got incredibly excited about it, obviously, because it does look very authentic

"A friend of mine told me that Banksy has other people that creep into places and put them there, so it’s absolutely highly possible.

"You can imagine we’re very excited.

"We had a buzz anyway, but now it’s added to the buzz."
