Woman in her 40s dies after single-vehicle collision on B1106 outside Brandon

A woman in her 40s has died following a single-vehicle collision on a key route.

Police were called at 11.19pm yesterday to the incident on the B1106 in Brandon, near Center Parcs.

The road was closed and was reopened by 7am today.

The ambulance service and a Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) paramedic attended.

A woman - the driver of the car - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or from motorists who have dash cam footage of or prior to the incident.
