Thetford woman in her 20s dies after crash on A11 near Ketteringham




A woman in her 20s has died and three people are in hospital following a crash on the A11.

The incident was at around 5.15am yesterday near Ketteringham discovered a black Mini One had left the southbound carriageway and collided with a tree after the junction with Station Lane.

A rear passenger in the car, a woman from Thetford, died at the scene.

The driver, a woman in her 30s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where she remains in a critical condition while two other passengers, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, were taken to hospital with serious injuries but remain in a stable condition.

The road was closed while emergency services including fire, ambulance and air ambulance attended the scene.

It reopened at around 11.30am and Norfolk Police is urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch, quoting CAD 69 of November 3.
