Easter is fast approaching, so it’s time to start planning a few outings to enjoy.
There’s a feast of seasonal fun to be had at The Food Museum in Stowmarket from March 28 to April 11 as it brings together Easter traditions from around the globe, as well as celebrating spring on the farm. From cooking workshops to local fare, Easter trails, and animal encounters, there's something for the whole family to enjoy.
Each day, you’ll be able to create your own hot cross buns in the outdoor bread oven and embark on a chocolatey adventure on Easter trails across the 84-acre site. Plus, don't miss the opportunity to meet, hold and feed the spring animals on the farm.
Explore the rich tapestry of Easter culinary traditions with its special international cooking workshops on April 2, 5 and 9. Learn to bake Mexican sweet treats, capirotada, Ukrainian plaited bread, paska and Middle Eastern mini-pastries, fatayer, in the wood-fired bread oven using recipes crafted in collaboration with local communities.
On the final Sunday, April 7, there’s a special Easter feast where you can enjoy a menu sourced from the site and local producers.
