Rod Stewart’s guitarist Jim Cregan brings his band Cregan & Co to The Apex in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Formed by Rod Stewart’s guitarist and collaborative songwriter Jim Cregan, Cregan & Co play Rod Stewart songs, spanning nearly four decades of hits. . . and they’re bringing them to The Apex.

When The Faces broke up in 1975, Rod Stewart started his own band. One of the most influential guitarists in this line-up was Jim Cregan. Now, more than 40 years on, Jim, together with four outstanding musicians, performs that well-loved music under the name ‘Cregan & Co’.
Jim was Rod’s co-producer, co-writer and musical director for nearly 20 years and the pair remain good friends to this day. His songs have also been recorded by Joe Cocker, Willie Nelson and Kid Rock, among many others, and has played on stage with Jeff Beck, Frank Zappa, Pete Townsend and Chuck Berry, as well as Tina Turner, Elton John, Cat Stevens and Katie Melua.
Jim has received more than 40 gold and platinum records to date, including for his guitar solo on Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel’s Come Up And See Me (Make Me Smile).
Vocalist/guitarist Ben Mills was awarded a platinum album for his debut release which charted at No.3 in the official UK album charts. Equally at home on both guitar and piano, he has worked with musical legends Tony Bennett and Barry Manilow, written songs with Mark Owen (Take That) and in 2006 Ben reached the final of The X-Factor, winning accolades from Simon Cowell for his gravelly, soulful voice.
A master of both electric and upright bass, Pat Davey is in demand as a session musician and live performer. he has toured the world with The Tom Robinson Band, Rumer and jazz greats like Ronnie Scott,
Harry James (drums) and Sam Tanner (keyboards) are no strangers to Bury St Edmunds –Harry played in the town with Magnum, while Sam is the front man with funk-soul band, Brother Strut.
