Skulduggery in Stowmarket confirms Charlie Haylock, Jaqueline Beard, Barbara Nadel and Kate Rhodes

Murder, detection and deceit are back this month in the second Skulduggery in Stowmarket crime writing festival.

Stowmarket Library is hosting a series of talks from crime writers including Charlie Haylock, Jaqueline Beard, Barbara Nadel and Kate Rhodes.

Organisers are hoping to build on the success of last year's inaugural Skulduggery in Stowmarket which also helped raise footfall for the library.

Other events include an introduction to self-publishing from Gipping Press, and there will also be refreshments.

It all takes place from Friday, April 26 to Monday, April 29. A spokesman said: "We aim to showcase local crime fiction authors, and stories featuring Anglia.

"The event is aimed at anyone who enjoys the genre of crime fiction."
