Snailwell's Fun Day is this Saturday
Snailwell Fun Day will be held in the large gardens of The George and Dragon on Saturday.
Special guest Chris Parkhouse, the Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, is to kick off the event at the official opening ceremony at noon.
The day will feature the fun dog show, Kennet Youth Football Club will be holding a speed shot and a beat the goalie competition, magician Jason Fenn, home made cakes, drinks, an all-day-BBQ and more.
Bambi the miniature petting pony is also paying a visit, along with a wide verity of traditional games like Splat the Rat, Feed the Frog and Football Shy.
Kate Ryan, one of the organisers, said: "This year we are supporting Shine a Light. They are a group of local people who aim to make Newmarket a Dementia friendly town. They also offer support to people with Dementia and their carers. They will have a stall on the day if anyone wants to learn more about what they do."
The fun day ends at about 4.30 and is followed by some live music.
