Suffolk residents warned to 'be prepared' as flood alerts issued
Residents are warned to 'be prepared' as flood alerts have been issued across Suffolk.
11 flood alerts have been issued across the county, including in Ipswich, Sudbury, and Stowmarket.
A flood alert means that flooding is possible and residents should 'be prepared', as opposed to a flood warning – which means that floods are expected.
Forecasters expect Sunday to be mostly dry, with highs of 6C in the afternoon and a small chance of rain.
In December, parts of Mid Suffolk were hit with heavy rainfall, which led to the most severe flooding in decades on Christmas Eve.
