Butley, Woodbridge: Youths damage vehicle by hauling concrete across road

A group of youths have damaged a vehicle by dragging a lump of concrete across a road on a rope.

The incident, which caused significant damage to a white Ford transit van, took place on the B1084 at Butley, near Woodbridge on Tuesday 28 September at around 10pm.

The victim was driving along the road towards Orford, when a group of unknown youths pulled a large piece of concrete on a rope, across the carriageway, in what is believed to be a deliberate attempt to damage the vehicle.

The concrete impacted on the driver’s side of the vehicle, damaging the front bumper and both offside tyres, requiring the vehicle to be recovered by recovery services.
