Cyclist airlifted to Ipswich Hospital with 'possibly life-changing' injuries following accident in Ford Road, Marlesford




Two cyclists have been taken to hospital after having been involved in an accident at Marlesford.

Emergency services were called to the scene of an accident involving two male cyclists, both in their 70s, in Ford Road just before 1pm today.

One man was airlifted to Ipswich Hospital with a serious leg injury which a Suffolk Police spokesman described as 'possibly life-changing'.

The other man was taken to the hospital by land ambulance after he suffered hip and knee injuries.
