Woodbridge house fire in Station Road sees three crews, police and ambulance attend




Three fire crews battled a blaze at a Woodbridge home in the early hours of this morning.

The crews, from Woodbridge and Ipswich, were called to the terraced house in Station Road at around 4.30am and spent around 90 minutes extinguishing the flames.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue spokesman said the fire had broken out in a single storey extension of the three storey house.

"Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire, remove debris and dampen down the area," he said.

Ambulance crews were called but were stood down before they arrived at the scene due to everyone having been accounted for.

Suffolk Police were also in attendance. They have been approached for comment.
