Fire crews called to reports of smouldering in roof in Hasketon near Woodbridge after blaze

Reports of smouldering in a Suffolk roof that was up in flames yesterday have led fire crews to return.

Two fire crews are at a house in Hasketon, near Woodbridge – where crews were called to battle a blaze at around 1am yesterday.

Surrounding roads were closed during the night, as dozens of firefighters used pumping equipment and entered the building with breathing equipment. The operation was scaled back at about 4am.
