Firefighters alerted to ‘well alight’ car fire in Rendlesham Lane, near Woodbridge

Firefighters battled a ‘well alight’ vehicle fire near an East Suffolk town.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was alerted to the blaze in Rendlesham Lane, near Woodbridge, just after 12.30pm yesterday.

A fire crew from Woodbridge used breathing equipment and two rose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

The incident was dealt with within 30 minutes, at 1.03pm.
