Hundreds in Woodbridge celebrating after bagging £3.2m People’s Postcode Lottery jackpot
Hundreds of people in Woodbridge have woken up to a multi-million pound surprise this morning.
A total of 363 residents in the IP12 1 area have scooped a share of £3.2 million from the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Postcode Millions prize.
They will be entitled to between £4,020 to £16,080, depending on how many tickets they bought – with the largest winners still to be announced.
The full winning postcode will be unveiled at 3pm on Saturday. Anyone taking part within that area will take home the biggest prizes.
Danyl Johnson, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: “What a wonderful surprise for hundreds of Woodbridge residents. I’m sure the town will be bouncing today!
“I can’t wait to celebrate the town’s win on Saturday as we reveal the postcode that’s won the biggest prizes.”
Postcode Lottery players pay £12 per month to be in with a shot of winning.
They play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered.
The scheme has raised more than £1.3 billion for good causes since it began.
A multi-million pound prize is handed out every month, with a weekly jackpot of £1 million up for grabs.
