Police hunt man who stole cash from Shell petrol station in Woodbridge




A man who stole cash from a Woodbridge petrol station is being hunted by police.

CCTV footage from the Shell garage in Grove Road shows a man entering the store and asking for a packet of cigarettes at the counter.

When the member of staff turns to get the cigarettes, the man puts his hand through the gap in the perspex screen and grabs a handful of notes which had been taken from the till for banking.

The video, which was taken at around 7.40pm on June 16, shows the man then pay for the cigarettes and leave with the cash.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call Woodbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 quoting crime reference 37/33384.
