Man who absconded from Hollesley Bay prison near Woobridge arrested in Cambridgeshire




A prisoner who absconded from Hollesley Bay, near Woodbridge , has been arrested two weeks after he went missing, police have confirmed this afternoon.

John Biddle, 22, who was reported missing on Wednesday, August 12 after he could not be found following roll call, was arrested yesterday in the Huntingdon area of Cambridgeshire after police renewed an appeal to help trace him .

Biddle is serving a seven-year and two-month sentence for burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, theft and driving with no insurance offences.
