Hollesley Bay, Woodbridge, prison absconder is hunted by police

A man jailed for burglary and arson is being hunted by police.

Prisoner Danny Johnson has absconded from Hollesley Bay.

Johnson, 24, was found to be missing on a roll call and police were alerted.

Johnson, who has links to Bedford, is serving a six-year sentence for burglary and arson.

He is white, approximately 6ft 1ins tall, with a heavy build, short brown hair, green eyes and a brown beard.

Johnson is believed to be wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey T-shirt and grey trainers. He could be carrying a black bag.

Anyone who believes they have seen Danny Johnson, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting CAD 219 of 12 May
