Christmas carol concerts are a sure-fire way to get the whole family into the festive spirit, and this year Suffolk has plenty to offer.
Whether your favourite is Silent Night, Once in Royal David City or Away in a Manger, you're sure to hear all the classics and more at the following seven Christmas carol concerts.
1. Christmas Carol Service St Peter and St Paul Church, Clare - 18th December
For an evening of quintessentially festive carolling, don't miss the St Peter and St Paul Church service in Clare, Sudbury.
With the service beginning at 6pm and ending at 7.30pm, churchgoers will spend an hour and a half enjoying a sing along as well as listening to bible readings.
2. Christmas at Great War Huts, Bury St Edmunds - 18th December
The Suffolk Concert Band is performing a range of classic and beloved Christmas classics alongside First World War tunes at the Christmas at Great War Huts concert this year.
Taking place at the Great War Huts at Brook Farm Camp, Hawstead, which will be decorated in Edwardian Christmas style, it promises to get visitors in the festive mood with Christmas food and drink on sale.
A brilliant way to ring in the festive season, these old and new carols will have the whole family singing along at £11.37 a ticket.
3. Salvation Army Carol Service, Felixstowe - 19th December
Christmas with the Salvation Army promises to be a stunning carol service including all the classic and traditional songs.
Starting at 5.30pm and ending at 7pm, the service is open to all and takes place at The Salvation Army on Cobbold Road.
Please note this service is a ticketed event.
4. Evening Carols Service at LRBC, Lowestoft - 19th December
Lowestoft residents are invited to London Road Baptist Church for their Evening Carol Service.
On December 19 from 6pm to 7.15pm the church will be full of festive cheer and classic carols to bring the community together.
Just six days before the big day, this service is sure to get the whole family feeling christmassy.
5. Carols by Candlelight with the Newmarket Town Band - 19th December
For an evening of carolling in glowing candle light, be sure to visit All Saints Church in Newmarket on December 19.
Joined by the Newmarket Town Band, visitors will hear plenty of traditional and classic Christmas tunes in the stunning church setting.
6. Open air Christmas concert, Woodbridge - 22nd December
This Christmas carol event promises to be extra special, as it is followed by a light and sound extravaganza on the side of the Tide Mill.
It marks Woodbridge Rotary Club's 69th Open Air Carol event and will be held at Whisstocks Place at the bottom of Tide Mill Way.
Father Christmas will also be making his visit with sweets for the children and the 5th Woodbridge Sea Scouts will be selling Hot Dogs, Teas, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine to get everyone in the spirit.
