East of England Co-op to open new travel branch in Woodbridge
A travel agent with three decades’ experience will lead a new branch set to open in Woodbridge later this month.
The East of England Co-op has announced it will open a new travel branch inside its supermarket in Hamblin Walk on May 30.
The store will be managed by Amanda Lucas, who has been in the travel business for more than 30 years.
Amanda began her career on holiday transfer coaches and has worked in many countries across the world, including those in the Caribbean.
She said Woodbridge was incredibly important to the company, having ‘jumped’ at the chance to lead the store.
“I have always had a passion for exploring new places and meeting people,” she said.
“I look forward to being part of the town, helping holidaymakers with their plans for 2024 and beyond and making connections with members of the community in Woodbridge.”
When it opens, the new branch will the 15th in the East of England.
Amanda added the team were excited to offer travel advice ahead of what she expected to be a busy summer season.
