Two accidents reported on A12 near Woodbridge within minutes and miles of each other




Emergency services have been called to two accidents on the A12 near Woodbridge this morning.

The first was a two vehicle collision which was reported at about 6.45am on the A12 roundabout between Melton and Woobridge.

Police and ambulance crews attended the incident, involving a Chrysler 300c and a Nissan Qashqai.

A police spokeswoman said the Qashqai had rolled over and the road was blocked, but the vehicles were recovered and the road reopened at 8.16am.

Just 21 minutes later, and a couple of miles away, a car broke down on the A12 near Seckford Hall at about 7.05am.

The spokeswoman said they were called to the southbound lane 1 where a Ford Galaxy had broken down.

She said a rolling road block was put in place and the vehicle was towed away by 7.24am.
