A school in a village has been shut due to heavy rainfall.

Otley Primary School, in Chapel Road, Otley, near Woodbridge and Framlingham, will be closed today.

This is due to ‘water ingress within the school as a result of the heavy rainfall’.

The school’s headteacher is Hannah Rigby.

The county was battered with heavy rainfall yesterday after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning.

It caused problems on the roads, with the A14 and the A11 affected.
