B1083 in Bromeswell, near Woodbridge, crash sees woman suffer potentially life-changing injuries

A woman was taken to hospital after suffering serious leg injuries in a crash near Woodbridge yesterday.

Police were called to a collision between a Kia Niro car and a black Yamaha motorbike on the B1083 in Bromeswell, at 12.45pm.

The motorcyclist, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment, before being moved to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said her injuries were potentially life-changing.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash.

Any motorists who were driving in the area with a dashcam fitted are being asked to review the footage for any details.
