Fog is expected to cover Suffolk from late this evening into tomorrow, with temperatures set to drop overnight.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for fog and has advised that the county will see dense fog patches which are likely to cause some travel disruption overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Motorists have been advised to take extra care on the roads, while slower journey times should also be expected, a spokesman said.

The weather warning, which covers all of Suffolk, is in place from 10pm this evening until 12pm tomorrow.

The Met Office has urged drivers to take extra care on their journeys, issuing some tips for driving in fog on their Twitter account.
