A14 reopens at Nacton, near Ipswich, after car rolled onto roof in lorry crash
A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A14 outside Ipswich where a car rolled over onto its roof.
Police were called to reports of a crash between a car and a lorry on the A14 eastbound, at junction 57, at 11.30am.
The road was shut both ways near Nacton Interchange, with the westbound route reopening before 1pm.
The closure caused traffic chaos in the town.
National Highways and Suffolk Police have confirmed the route reopened at 4.30pm.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said paramedics were called to the scene at 12.14pm.
“We sent an ambulance and an ambulance officer vehicle,” she said.
“One woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
