Motorcyclist taken to hospital after ‘serious’ collision with car in Stowmarket Road, Great Blakenham, near Ipswich

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after a ‘serious’ collision involving a motorcycle and a car.

Police were called by the ambulance service at around 9.45pm yesterday to the incident in Stowmarket Road, near the junction with Lower Street, Great Blakenham.

The crashed involved a black Audi Q3 and a red Honda GLR motorcycle.

The injured man, who was riding the motorcycle, was taken to hospital having suffered a serious leg injury.

Police area appealing for witnesses to the collision and are asking motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident, and who have dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
